I'm David Barker, owner of Giant Ant special effects. I've been working in effects since the early 80's and have blown up more houses, trains and cars than I can remember. I specialize in large pyro gags, action shots involving car stunts, fires and explosions, and major destruction. I'm a member of IATSE local #44 (the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees), hold a Special Effects Card, a Powder one (1) card in California and Nevada and a pyrotechnic license with the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Fire Arms). I'm also a qualified Propmaker and Propshop fabricator. I am available as a special effects coordinator, consultant or crew member.
